KidsGPT (“The App”) is committed to providing a fun environment for parents to answer children questions while respecting our users’ privacy. This policy outlines what the App does with your personal information. We process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and other specific privacy legislation.
KidsGPT collects and processes data for the functioning of the App. The App uses an audio-recording function, where users can speak, and the resulting text is sent to OpenAI services, a third-party provider.
KidsGPT is meant for users older than 13 years. We do not intentionally collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use our Service. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal data, please contact us at kidsgpt@stritt.de.
The data we collect includes the text transcribed from your spoken input and analytics data such as the androidId of the device using the App.
Text data transcribed from your recorded audio and analytics data such as the androidId collected by the App are sent to our server via encrypted transmission. Text data is then sent to OpenAI services in the United States. The transfer of this data is done in a secure manner to protect user privacy.
Data is retained on our servers for 90 days from the point of collection. After 90 days, the data will be automatically deleted.
Please note that given the nature of our data collection and use, a request for data deletion is not facilitated. However, rest assured that all data older than 90 days is automatically purged from our systems.
Your data's safety is paramount to us. We use industry-standard data encryption practices to protect your data from unauthorized access during transit.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy as required by applicable law, including any changes in our practices around data collection and use. Please frequently review our Privacy Policy for any changes.
